La Dra. Luiza Petre se vistió de rosado, el color de la lucha contra el cáncer, para recibir a más de 100 invitados al cóctel que ofreció para anunciar el torneo de golf PLAY FOR PINK a beneficio del Breast Cancer Research Foundation (Fundación de Investigación sobre el Cáncer de Mama). El evento tuvo lugar en el restaurante Beautique de Nueva York y la invitada de honor fue Jane Pontarelli.
