One of them was the new Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta, the spider version of the 458 Speciale coupe, which thanks to its 4.5-liter and 605 hp V8 engine claims to be the most powerful convertible in the history of the Cavallino. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 3 seconds, and although the firm has not yet provided official data of the maximum speed or consumption, we have learned that it completed its fastest lap at Fiorano in 1’23 ”5, thus surpassing other legendary Maranello sports cars such as the Ferrari Enzo.

Another great supercar unveiled in Paris was the impressive Mercedes-Benz AMG GT. The substitute of the SLS doesn’t feature the iconic gull wings in its doors, but its attractive coupé proportions combined with the 510 hp from its V8 biturbo promise to make us forget its predecessor, undoubtedly one of the most coveted cars in recent times. The downside is that we will not see it on the road until spring 2015.

The next supercar that attracted significant attention in the Paris show is the Lamborghini Asterion LPI 910-4: the first hybrid in the history of the Sant’Agata Bolognese firm, and the ‘Lambo’, more powerful than any other car in history. Following the brand’s unmistakable style, the Asterion, which so far is only a prototype, can achieve a staggering 910 hp thanks to a hybrid set that uses just 4.2 liters per 100 kilometers (52.27 miles per gallon). It also accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h (60 mph) in just 3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 320 km / h (198 mph).

Leaving aside sportsmanship, we must also highlight the new Bentley Mulsanne Speed. This new version of the luxury sedan increases its power from 513 to 537 hp, while reducing consumption by 13% compared to the basic version. It also has a stiffer suspension for a sportier driving experience.

And we must not forget Bugatti´s latest creation that comes to complete its series of six special editions of the Veyron commemorating the 105 anniversary of the brand. It is the Veyron Ettore Bugatti, a tribute to the Italian-born founder of the company, with a Veyron inspired by the Type 41 Royale, the epitome of luxury cars during the 1930s. Finished in polished aluminum, it features the same W16 eight-liter 1200 hp engine of the other five special models that have been previously presented.
