The New Lamborghini Aventador

Ana B. Remos

The Lamborghini Aventador is named after the potent force of a famous fighting bull from Spain, who won a vicious battle against his opponent. The newest creation of the Italian car designer is a testament to handling, acceleration, and speed—all within the carbon-fiber body that is fully-equipped with a wing that adjusts its angle depending on what high speeds you choose.

The Aventador’s engine is mounted in the back of the car, giving this beast a strong rear-kick. The most powerful engine in a Lamborghini to date, it is also the most fuel-efficient with a 6.6-liter V12 that offers 700 horsepower and gracefully grants you 11/17-mpg city/highway. Luxury and startling potency come together with rarity, and this new Aventador is a classic example of mighty grace.

In addition to the sleek carbon-fiber exterior, there is also the wing attached near the back, which changes angles within three specific positions that are designed for ultimate aerodynamics—but have I told you that it looks stunning while searing through the road?
Contrast the shiny carbon-fiber exterior with the plush and comfortable interior—a nod to Lamborghini’s commitment to ultra-luxury and excellence in every product they launch. Surprisingly, the dashboard and panels are partially comprised of the Audi MMI-based “infotainment system”, including the audio controls mounted on the steering wheel. This fusion between Lamborghini and Audi is not a sacrifice, but an improvement based on the latter’s cutting-edge development.

The Lamborghini Aventador has an average 18-month waiting list, but if you’re patient, it can be yours for a starting price of $379,700.
