Crissier is a municipality in the canton of Vaud, near Lausanne. The town is home to one of the country’s best restaurants with three Michelin Stars: Benoît Violier at the illustrious l’Hôtel de Ville Crissier. During nearly 40 years of history, legendary chefs like Fredy Girardet and Philippe Rochat have worked in its kitchens. Currently, Benoît Violier is in charge of the cuisine. Violier is a passionate professional who has trained under two iconic French chefs: Joël Robuchon and Benoît Guichard. His dishes awaken the senses! His culinary team uses techniques developed over the years and goes out of its way to elevate the raw materials from the canton of Vaud to unimaginable sublimation levels. Their most noteworthy creations are the plates featuring local ingredients. These include fish from Lake Geneva, arctic char, fresh Vaud vegetables, the famous beef from the canton of Fribourg, mushrooms and, of course, the incredible Swiss dairy products including prized cheeses. The charming restaurant—with stylish and unpretentious decor—presents its dishes on Limoges china. And your selection from their exciting wine list will be served, of course, in beautiful Baccarat crystal.
