Designers are sending women a message of confidence and femininity.

This season designers are sending women a message of confidence and femininity, no matter the length of their hair or the hems of their skirts. Hair is off the faces and hairstyles are shown much shorter, as seen in the latest red carpet appearances by Charlize Theron and Anne Hathaway.

Today’s women are confident and present themselves to the world with character and pizazz, a sexy approach that no longer compromises their integrity or fashion sense. The time of tight mini skirts that expose a girl’s derrière is almost extinct.

Donna Karan, Dior, Chloe and many other fashion houses are showing fuller dresses, below the knee, accentuating the waistline. Looser garments in pastel colors are dominating the runways. These feminine silhouettes in delicate spring fabrics soften and compliment the boyish, scissor over comb haircut.
