La nueva creaci\u00f3n del aclamado cineasta Francis Ford Coppola<\/strong>, no es una pel\u00edcula, sino un hotel boutique de lujo en el sur de Italia. Sin embargo, Palazzo Margherita no es el primer hotel de Coppola<\/strong>. El director de El Padrino<\/em> se ha hecho su propio nicho en el negocio de la hosteler\u00eda con galardonados alojamientos en Guatemala, Belice y Argentina. Los Resorts Coppola son una colecci\u00f3n de propiedades elegantes y ecol\u00f3gicas emplazadas en bellos entornos naturales, lejos del ajetreo y el bullicio de las capitales del mundo.<\/p>\n

La \u00faltima incorporaci\u00f3n a su \u201cplantilla\u201d es el Palazzo Margherita, ubicado en Bernalda, una peque\u00f1a ciudad de monta\u00f1a en la regi\u00f3n de Basilicata del sur de Italia donde naci\u00f3 el abuelo de Francis<\/strong>. Est\u00e1 a s\u00f3lo veinte minutos de las playas de arena blanca y las aguas azul cobalto del Mar J\u00f3nico. No es una ciudad de lujo, pero la vida aqu\u00ed se despliega ante tus ojos al m\u00e1s puro estilo italiano, como en las pel\u00edculas de los a\u00f1os 50 y 60. La comida y el vino han mantenido su autenticidad lejos del turismo de masas hasta la fecha. La Basilicata es un para\u00edso para los gourmands m\u00e1s exigentes, hogar de una amplia variedad de productos artesanales y trattorias que ofrecen los cl\u00e1sicos productos frescos del campo combinados con carnes a la brasa, pastas caseras, pescados y mariscos. El Palazzo<\/em>, que abri\u00f3 sus puertas en marzo como un hotel \u00edntimo, es una villa del siglo XIX restaurada con enorme imaginaci\u00f3n por el legendario dise\u00f1ador franc\u00e9s Jacques Grange<\/strong>. Se encuentra en la plaza del pueblo, y tiene grandes y pesadas puertas de entrada que se abren a un patio y a la piscina, donde se celebr\u00f3 la boda de Sof\u00eda<\/strong>, hija de Francis<\/strong>. Hay siete grandes suites y dos habitaciones sobre el jard\u00edn con frescos en el techo, suntuosos ba\u00f1os y lozas de cer\u00e1mica meticulosamente restauradas, junto a las m\u00e1s modernas comodidades tecnol\u00f3gicas y las colecciones de las mejores pel\u00edculas italianas de todos los tiempos. La piscina y el amplio jard\u00edn del patio confieren al Palazzo<\/em> la sensaci\u00f3n de ser un refugio m\u00e1gico y atemporal.
