Champanes rosados y blancos pertenecientes a cosechas que van desde 1914 hasta el 2004 y procedentes de la insigne bodega francesa estar\u00e1n a disposici\u00f3n de aqu\u00e9llos que deseen aprovechar la gran oportunidad para incrementar su bodega particular con champa\u00f1as de la mejor calidad.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(102, 102, 102); line-height: 22px; padding-bottom: 5px;\"><\/span><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive\" title=\" Sotheby\u2019s: Gran subasta de Mo\u00ebt &#038; Chandon\" alt=\"Sotheby's\" src=\"\/files\/Images\/Bulletins\/Gastronomy\/sothebys\/Sothebys-02.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Con esta venta, Mo\u00ebt &#038; Chandon conmemorar\u00e1 los 270 a\u00f1os desde que Claude Mo\u00ebt fundara la firma en 1743. En la actualidad, la empresa forma parte del imperio de productos de lujo Mo\u00ebt Hennessy- Louis (LVMH), propiedad del franc\u00e9s <strong>Bernard Arnault<\/strong>, quien seg\u00fan la revista <em>Forbes <\/em>ocupa el d\u00e9cimo lugar en el ranking mundial de billonarios del mundo, con un patrimonio calculado en 29 billones de d\u00f3lares.<br \/>\nEn la capital brit\u00e1nica se subastar\u00e1n 74 lotes distintos con los que se espera se sobrepase la cifra final de venta de m\u00e1s de 160 mil d\u00f3lares. Entre las 270 botellas a subastar destacan 174 Magnum (1.5 litros) y tres Jeroboams (3 litros), seleccionados especialmente de la colecci\u00f3n Mo\u00ebt Grand Vintage por el maestro de la cava, <strong>Beno\u00eet Gouez<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>Para <strong>Gouez<\/strong>, una de las cosechas m\u00e1s extraordinarias y evocadoras de Mo\u00ebt &#038; Chandon es la de 1914, a\u00f1o de una gran intensidad emocional pues la uva fue recogida y seleccionada por las mujeres, ya que los hombres estaban todos en el frente de batalla al comienzo de la Primera Guerra Mundial.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(102, 102, 102); line-height: 22px; padding-bottom: 5px;\"><\/span><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive\" title=\" Sotheby\u2019s: Gran subasta de Mo\u00ebt &#038; Chandon\" alt=\"Sotheby's\" src=\"\/files\/Images\/Bulletins\/Gastronomy\/sothebys\/Sothebys-01.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Michael Edwards<\/strong>, experto en vinos y autor del libro <em>The Finest Wines of Champagne<\/em>, se\u00f1ala que la a\u00f1ada de 1914 de Mo\u00ebt &#038; Chandon debe estar en perfecto estado, con buena presencia de fruta y sin se\u00f1ales de oxidaci\u00f3n. <strong>Edwards<\/strong>, quien cat\u00f3 la a\u00f1ada en 1968, no encuentra motivo alguno para que \u00e9sta no se mantenga en perfectas condiciones casi 50 a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s. Por su parte, <strong>Serena Sutcliffe<\/strong>, jefa mundial de vinos de Sotheby\u2019s, tuvo la suerte de probar recientemente esta incre\u00edble cosecha y declar\u00f3 que por su sabor y su evoluci\u00f3n es un champ\u00e1n superlativo.<\/p>\n<p>Se espera que las dos botellas de este raro a\u00f1o superen en la puja los 8.000 d\u00f3lares cada una. Tambi\u00e9n se prev\u00e9 un gran momento cuando se presenten las botellas de 1921 y 1928 porque, seg\u00fan <strong>Edwards<\/strong>, estas a\u00f1adas son \u00fanicas y de especial finura.
