Otros restaurantes hist\u00f3ricos de Madrid: <a href=\"\/gastronomia\/Casa-Lucio-leyenda-en-Madrid\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Casa Lucio<\/a> y <a href=\"\/gastronomia\/casa-botin-el-restaurante-mas-antiguo-del-mundo\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Casa Bot\u00edn<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive\" title=\"Lhardy, el restaurante aristocr\u00e1tico de Madrid, cumple 175 a\u00f1os\" alt=\"Lhardy\" src=\"\/files\/Images\/Bulletins\/Gastronomy\/lhardy\/Lhardy-01.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Abri\u00f3 sus puertas en 1839, cuando reinaba <strong>Isabel II de Borb\u00f3n<\/strong>. El nombre del establecimiento vendr\u00eda sugerido por el del famoso <em>Caf\u00e9 Hardy<\/em>, del Boulevard de los Italianos de Par\u00eds, que m\u00e1s tarde se convertir\u00eda en la Maison Dor\u00e9e. Su propietario, <strong>Emilio Huguenin<\/strong>, acab\u00f3 tomando el nombre de su negocio y se transform\u00f3 en <strong>Emilio Lhardy<\/strong>. No import\u00f3 que d\u00e9cadas antes Espa\u00f1a se defendiera valientemente y consiguiera echar al invasor franc\u00e9s durante las guerras napole\u00f3nicas, porque la alta gastronom\u00eda, con su impecable distinci\u00f3n, sus magn\u00edficos manteles, su fina cristaler\u00eda, las buenas formas de sus camareros y el buen hacer en los fogones, ven\u00eda por entonces exclusivamente de Par\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>El gusto por la moda francesa del Segundo Imperio dot\u00f3 en su momento a Lhardy de esa elegancia que todav\u00eda hoy cautiva y puede apreciarse en el dise\u00f1o de su fachada exterior, construida con magn\u00edficas caobas tra\u00eddas desde Cuba. La decoraci\u00f3n interior \u2014con sus dos mostradores enfrentados y el espejo al fondo, sobre la opulenta consola que sostiene la <em>bouilloire<\/em>\u2014  permanece intacta, tal y como la ide\u00f3 el decorador <strong>Rafael Guerrero<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive\" title=\"Lhardy, el restaurante aristocr\u00e1tico de Madrid, cumple 175 a\u00f1os\" alt=\"Lhardy\" src=\"\/files\/Images\/Bulletins\/Gastronomy\/lhardy\/Lhardy-02.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Gran parte de la historia de Espa\u00f1a se ha tramado entre la elegancia de estas paredes, bajo sus l\u00e1mparas evocadoras del romanticismo y en torno a sus mesas que contin\u00faan subrayando la m\u00e1s alta gastronom\u00eda en un ambiente \u00fanico.<\/p>\n<p>Los comedores, concebidos como <em>Sal\u00f3n Isabelino<\/em>, <em>Sal\u00f3n Blanco<\/em> y <em>Sal\u00f3n Japon\u00e9s<\/em>, conservan el papel pintado de la \u00e9poca, as\u00ed como las chimeneas, guarniciones y ornatos eternizados por <strong>Gald\u00f3s<\/strong>, <strong>Azor\u00edn<\/strong> o <strong>Ram\u00f3n G\u00f3mez de la Serna<\/strong>. El rey <strong>Alfonso XIII<\/strong>, el abuelo del actual monarca espa\u00f1ol, acudi\u00f3 varias veces de inc\u00f3gnito a Lhardy a principios del siglo XX, coincidiendo en los salones con amigos y personajes de la vida madrile\u00f1a. El tiempo parece haberse detenido en sus bellos comedores, en los que se desarrollaron crisis pol\u00edticas, se idearon golpes de estado y se vivieron t\u00f3rridos y secretos amor\u00edos reales.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"img-responsive\" title=\"Lhardy, el restaurante aristocr\u00e1tico de Madrid, cumple 175 a\u00f1os\" alt=\"Lhardy\" src=\"\/files\/Images\/Bulletins\/Gastronomy\/lhardy\/Lhardy-03.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>Este a\u00f1o 2014, Lhardy celebra su 175 aniversario con su atm\u00f3sfera aristocr\u00e1tica e intelectual de siempre.
