En su atelier madrile\u00f1o realizan encargos hechos a mano \u2014como trajes de ceremonia o vestidos de noche\u2014 y planifican al detalle sus colecciones <em>pr\u00eat-\u00e0-porter<\/em>. Un trabajo intenso en horas y creatividad para recuperar siluetas <em>vintage<\/em>, pintar y bordar a mano las flores y otros estampados, o pensar en todos los detalles de sus estilos elegantes y modernos. \u201cNos gusta crear prendas que se consideren un lujo cercano, actual. Para algunos es conducir un Bentley por las calles de Sevilla o Barcelona, y para otros es estar en un pueblo desierto, sin cobertura en el m\u00f3vil. Para nosotros, el lujo proviene de la relaci\u00f3n basada en la satisfacci\u00f3n, la exclusividad y la calidad de nuestras creaciones\u201d, explica <strong>Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>, copropietario de la marca. <a href=\"\/es\/moda\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lea aqu\u00ed m\u00e1s sobre moda y las \u00faltimas tendencias<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Burillo<\/strong> y <strong>Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong> se conocieron cuando trabajaban para el dise\u00f1ador <strong>Angel Schlesser<\/strong> y enseguida entablaron amistad. \u201cAl poco tiempo, decidimos aunar fuerzas y \u00e1nimos para crear nuestra propia marca\u201d, recuerda <strong>Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>. Ella encarnar\u00eda a la perfecci\u00f3n sus dise\u00f1os para la temporada oto\u00f1o-invierno 2014, resumidos en la colecci\u00f3n <em>Red Candy<\/em> que presentaron en la pasarela del Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. Prendas y complementos que viajan con  Dorothy en <em>El mago de Oz<\/em>, reinventan siluetas de la d\u00e9cada de 1950 y tratan de recuperar el sabor de las cerezas frescas y las manzanas de caramelo de la ni\u00f1ez. \u201cPara esta propuesta, utilizamos tejidos como el <em>mikado<\/em>, el raso duquesa y la organza de seda natural, que ayudan a crear vol\u00famenes con cuerpo, ligeros de aspecto pero con fuerza\u201d, explica <strong>Burillo<\/strong>, quien agrega que una paleta de colores como \u201cel <em>camel<\/em>, el hielo y el <em>nude<\/em> se unen al rojo protagonista de forma delicada y arm\u00f3nica\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Para su colecci\u00f3n m\u00e1s reciente, <em>Evening at Kaufmann&#8217;s<\/em>, presentada tambi\u00e9n en Madrid y en otras pasarelas internacionales, se han inspirado en la d\u00e9cada de 1970 y en una imagen del fot\u00f3grafo <strong>Slim Aarons<\/strong> de una fiesta en Palm Springs, California. Una de esas veladas de verano en las que <strong>Miles Davis<\/strong>, <strong>Liz Taylor<\/strong> o <strong>Aretha Franklin<\/strong> podr\u00edan coincidir y, con m\u00fasica de fondo, tomarse una copa alrededor de una gran piscina mientras el tiempo se detiene. Las invitadas se transforman as\u00ed en divas, gracias a cuellos halter, mangas abullonadas y escotes en la espalda en prendas pensadas para cada momento del d\u00eda. \u201cProbablemente, los caftanes y los vestidos camiseros son los que mejor representan nuestro esp\u00edritu. Es algo complicado, sobre todo, buscar el proveedor adecuado\u201d, confiesa <strong>Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>. \u201cLanzar una buena colecci\u00f3n de accesorios que cumpla con tus expectativas de dise\u00f1o y calidad requiere de mucho tiempo, pero sin duda es algo que tenemos en mente para un futuro no muy lejano\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The 2nd Skin forma parte de una nueva generaci\u00f3n de dise\u00f1adores espa\u00f1oles que est\u00e1 renovando la costura, fieles al legado de grandes maestros como <strong><a href=\"\/moda\/balenciaga-y-barcelona-un-viaje-a-los-origenes\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Crist\u00f3bal Balenciaga<\/a><\/strong> o <strong>Manuel Pertegaz<\/strong>, aunque sin perder de vista los cambios que ha experimentado la mujer y la sociedad en general.
