La bodega est\u00e1 situada en la zona productora de Pauillac, en la regi\u00f3n francesa de M\u00e9doc, al noroeste de Burdeos, lugar donde elaboran su legendario y famoso vino hom\u00f3nimo cuyas car\u00edsimas a\u00f1adas son vendidas en muchas ocasiones antes de ser embotelladas. <\/p>\n

Su calidad hace honor a la reputaci\u00f3n de Burdeos<\/a>, donde se elaboran algunos de los mejores vinos del mundo<\/a>, y ejemplo de la perfecta comuni\u00f3n entre el sabio trabajo del hombre y la ventaja de labrar unos terru\u00f1os excepcionales que producen vi\u00f1as ejemplares.<\/p>\n

La historia de Ch\u00e2teau Mouton Rothschild<\/a> comenz\u00f3 en 1853, cuando Nathaniel de Rothschild<\/strong>, miembro de la rama inglesa de una noble familia europea, adquiri\u00f3 una finca que ya en 1234 produc\u00eda vinos.<\/p>\n

Durante muchos a\u00f1os, a pesar de la calidad cada vez m\u00e1s reconocida de sus elaboraciones, la hacienda despert\u00f3 poco inter\u00e9s entre sus diferentes propietarios, hasta el punto que la bodega sufri\u00f3 de abandono durante un largo per\u00edodo. Pero, en 1922, el bar\u00f3n Philippe de Rothschild<\/strong>, de apenas 20 a\u00f1os de edad, tom\u00f3 en sus manos el destino de una bodega a la que dedicar\u00eda toda su vida.<\/p>\n


\nPhilippe de Rothschild<\/strong>, legendario banquero, piloto de Grand Prix y artista, fue un visionario que inmediatamente percibi\u00f3 que el futuro de Ch\u00e2teau Mouton Rothschild estaba en el vino embotellado, algo no muy usual en aquellos momentos ya que la bebida se vend\u00eda entonces generalmente a granel. <\/p>\n

A partir de 1934 comenz\u00f3 a numerar las botellas y, desde 1945 hasta hoy, las etiquetas del vino Ch\u00e2teau Mouton Rothschild son dise\u00f1os exclusivos de grandes artistas como Marc Chagall, Vassily Kandinsky, Pablo Picasso<\/strong> y Andy Warhol<\/strong>, entre otros. Estas peque\u00f1as obras de arte en forma de etiquetas pueden ser vistas en el museo que hay instalado en la bodega. <\/p>\n

El bar\u00f3n falleci\u00f3 en 1988 y su \u00fanica hija, la baronesa Philippine de Rothschild<\/strong>, se hizo cargo de la empresa, compartiendo la responsabilidad de la bodega con sus tres hijos Camille, Philippe<\/strong> y Julien<\/strong>, hasta su fallecimiento el pasado a\u00f1o. Actualmente, Ch\u00e2teau Mouton Rothschild es sin\u00f3nimo de excelentes vinos, entre los que se destaca su buque insignia: el m\u00edtico y valorado Ch\u00e2teau Mouton Rothschild, una creaci\u00f3n que se elabora desde los a\u00f1os 30 del pasado siglo con uvas de vi\u00f1edos Premier Cru de las variedades cabernet sauvignon, merlot y cabernet franc.<\/p>\n

Se trata de un vino elegante, que muestra el arte del coupage<\/em>, de color denso y opaco, casi negro, con un brillo muy atractivo y aromas refinados y complejos a frutas como las grosellas negras, las moras y las cerezas, con toques de caf\u00e9, cedro, especias, cuero y flores. En la boca revela suntuosos sabores a fruta madura con recuerdos a chocolate y vainilla Un vino de los que no existen por su perfecci\u00f3n, acabado y redondez, una joya de la vitivinicultura que hay que probar si se ama el vino. <\/p>\n

Ch\u00e2teau Mouton Rothschild es un referente internacional de calidad que ha traspasado las fronteras para convertirse en uno de los vinos franceses m\u00e1s apreciados y codiciados en el mundo. \u25a0<\/span><\/p>\n
